Current Vacancy: Investment Portfolio Specialist


Established in 2007, Wellesley Investments & Pensions Ltd is a Financial Advisory Firm specialising in Investment Management, Investment Portfolio Risk, and personal and company Pension Solutions. The company’s clients vary from individuals requiring personal investment advice to large Semi State Pension schemes. Reflecting recent growth in the business, the company is currently recruiting for the position of Investment Portfolio Specialist.


The Investment Portfolio Specialist will work as part of the Investments Team in the administration and maintenance of client investment portfolios, applying risk metrics and calculating portfolio values and performance. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of new investment strategies and ideas to ensure a quality, value added and solutions driven service for our clients.


Essential:        Undergraduate Degree in a discipline with a strong emphasis on mathematical problem solving:  (business, economics, maths, science, engineering, etc.). A keen interest in investment markets.

Desirable:       Financial Masters and/or CFA qualification (or be working towards a CFA qualification)



  • Strong Numeracy & attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to specific deadlines
  • Clear business acumen
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Ability to work well as part of a team


  • Some knowledge of VBA/Excel macros
  • 1 year professional experience in financial services or appropriate business discipline
